Today's Tarot: 2/11/12

The Emperor and the Nine of Swords. "No guts. No glory." "Great risk yields great reward." "With great power comes great responsibility." (Yep, that last one is from Spiderman.) These two cards together are curious, but they do have a message. Taking risks can bring us great rewards or it can make us miserable. So, a lot of what will happen today will be determined by whether or not you are ready to face and accept the consequences of your actions. Don't just take the risk and reach for your goals without knowing what the pitfalls might be. That's not worth it. But if you do know and are still willing, then go for it. I leave you with one last quote: "Living at risk is jumping off the cliff and building your wings on the way down." - Ray Bradbury. If you don't do that, if you instead prepare, then you are golden.
