Today's Tarot: 2/20/12

2/20/12: Nine of Rods and Three of Pentacles. The Nine of Rods encourages us to get fired up today. Got a secret dream of being a stand-up comedian? Go to an open mic night? Want to learn how to run? Try the "Couch to 5k" process. Want to learn how to cook? Get a cookbook out of the library or heck, look a recipe up online and try it today. The Three of Pentacles is about doing the work. Sure, we can whine and moan about things not going the way we want them too. We've all done plenty of it, I'm certain. It can be easy to get discouraged if things aren't going our way. But, and this is a big but, the only way to improve our situation is to actually dig in and do the work (it sucks, but there it is). With the three, though, we have the tenacity to actually take that first, small step to starting. And that can be the biggest step of all. So, the nine sparks the engine, and the three is all the machinery that makes it run. On your mark! Get set! Go!
